V901 Ori
V901 Ori is also known as Landstreet's Star and has also the registration HD 37776.
It's classified as spectral type B2V mCP and located in the emission nebula IC 432 . Zeeman Doppler Images indicates that this is a young rapidly rotating star with a VERY strong magnetic field (~ 30kG).
The rotation period of V901 has been estimated to 1.5 days and it looks like that its rotation period decreases by 5.5s since 2006. Other mCP stars show a similar behaviour but the cause is unclear.
Recent period measurement bases on high precision TESS photometric data (sigma=0.043mmag). Zdenˇek Mikul´aˇsek et. al. has recently published a paper: Proceedings of the Polish Astronomical Society, Vol. 11. ISBN: 978-83-950430-9-3, 2020, pp.46-53
We have recently obtained a spectra at H-Alpha wavelength. Figure below shows some RAW data not yet further processed.
